A wonderful Erasmus+ week together at Liebenzell castle.

From the 3rd to the 9th of May, we, French students from Jacques Monod Middle school in Compiègne, travelled to Bad Liebenzell, Germany, for an Erasmus+ project called “from pieces to peaces”. We were welcomed by Jovanna, the local organizer, and the German students from your school in Weil der Stadt. We were very tired after our long journey on the coach but so happy to get together.

During the workshops, we mainly talked about France and Germany’s relationships during and after the second world war and also about the creation of the European Union and its future. We will keep fond memories. Even if it was difficult to take part in the beginning because we were not feeling confident enough with our English and thus didn’t talk much; little by little we eventually got more involved thanks to you, German students, who were so nice and fun to be with.  We learnt a lot from working together and sharing points of view. We are so lucky we shared this fabulous week with you.  It was really interesting and we enjoyed it very much.  Many thanks to Jovanna at Liebenzell castle, to the German and French teachers and to the EU who made it all possible.
