Vom 21. – 27. August nahmen drei Trainer*innen aus dem Netzwerk des IFBLs gemeinsam mit Peers aus insgesamt acht europäischen Ländern am Train-the-Trainers Kurs „Out of the Jar“ in Stameriena, Lettland, teil. Hier sind ihre Eindrücke!
In late August, three members of our team visited Stameriena, Latvia, where we conducted a week-long workshop on youth work in rural areas. The aim of the course was to better understand youth worker engagement in rural areas and to get an insight into the possibilities of enhancing youth participation in rural areas while acknowledging that they have fewer opportunities to engage in activities offered by youth workers.
We networked with various organizations, including representatives from countries such as Malta, Italy, and Lithuania. We had the opportunity to present our work, share good practices and strengthen our skills and knowledge in nonformal education methods.
Of course, we also learned a great deal about the initiatives of the other organizations and made lasting memories during the week together in the Gulbene region!
